The school day starts at 8.45am at both our main site and at our Field Rooms. We open the doors at 8.45am and close the gate at 8.55am. This ensures that all children are in school for a prompt start and to make sure our school site is secure. Any children arriving after this time should enter through the main office door. This also allows parents time to drop off children at both sites.

Teachers and support staff are available to pass on a quick message in the morning, but if you need a bit longer to speak to them, please arrange a meeting via the school office so that they will have the time to speak  with you properly. 

Please ensure that children come to school suitably dressed for the weather and with waterproof coats when appropriate as we encourage children to be outside whenever they can at playtime. In the event of bad weather at playtime, the children remain in their classroom and are supervised. An assortment of activities is available at this time.

At the end of the day we allow the children to leave the Field Rooms at 3.10pm and from the main school at 3.15pm.

Children will be brought out to the gate or classroom door and will only be sent out when a parent or known adult is seen. Children in Class 4 are able to walk home by themselves but only when parents have given written permission via the school office. If collection arrangements for your child are going to be different from usual, please speak to your child’s class teacher or telephone the school office.

If children are absent from school for any reason, please do call the office and let us know as we need to know this information as part of our safeguarding duty.

We encourage active travel to school and scooters and bikes are welcome. There are limited places to leave these at school. Please note that you do this at your own risk.
